JEE Advanced: Important Dates Students Must Know

Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee has released the news that JEE Advanced 2019 will be conducted on May 19th. The exam will be conducted via online mode. The exam will be carried in two different sessions i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. To be included in the rank list, candidates have to attempt both the papers. Registration for JEE Advanced will begin from the first week of May and will also be carried in the second week.

The candidates who will qualify JEE Advanced will be able to apply for admission in IITs. The candidates who have successfully registered can access the admit card of JEE Advanced 2019. The results will be declared tentatively in the second week of June. The candidates become eligible for JEE Advanced after passing JEE Main with required marks. JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria 2019

Concerned authorities of JEE have some set of requirements that should be met by the candidates who want to appear in the exam. These requirements are the eligibility criteria of JEE Advanced 2019. If any candidate does not meet the desired requirements then they are not allowed to appear in the exam. The eligibility criteria are as follows –

Age Limit: Candidates born on/after October 1, 1994, are allowed in the exam. For SC/ST/PWD, candidates born on/after October 1, 1999, are allowed to appear in the exam.

Number of Attempts: The candidates are allowed to give 2 exams in 2 consecutive years.

Qualifying Examination: The candidate should have passed 12th board examination in 2018 or 2019.

IIT Admissions: The candidate should not be admitted to IITs by the process of accepting a seat and reporting at the concerned Centre. Such candidates are not eligible.

JEE Main: Candidate should pass JEE Main examination and satisfy the Cutoff score then they are eligible for JEE Advanced.
