Whether you have always worked remotely or your business has just shifted from a brick and mortar building to a remote one, you’ve likely discovered quite a few advantages. From the start, you need to make sure that your work area is devoted to just that–work. While you may feel tempted to work in your bedroom, you’re going to be constantly pulled to the soft and comfortable lure of your bed. You should avoid the living room, too, where your TV remote is just a reach away. Instead, find an office. Set up a desk or work area. Limiting the amount of noise in your work area can greatly improve your productivity level if sounds are a big distraction for you.
