Coast Spas Reviews Shares the Best Backyard Games to Play with Kids

Introduction

Now that summer is here, more and more people are going to be venturing outdoors. Hopefully, it is not a rainy in your neck of the woods as it is here around the offices of Coast Spas Reviews. Should you be one of the lucky ones that do not have to battle the rainy days, we are going to provide you with things that you can do with your kids in the backyard.

Water Balloons

No matter what age your kids are, we are sure they will enjoy a little water balloon fight. Heck, we have been known to partake from time to time in a friendly water balloon battle. If you want to spice it up a little more, there are a number of things you can do to add to the fun. The first one we can think of is to make sure the water balloons are extra cold. You can do this by placing them in the refrigerator for a couple of hours or even tossing them in a cooler full of ice. The important thing to remember here is to make sure they are not frozen. A trip to the hospital would not add to the fun. Additionally, you can either put soap on the inside or outside of the water balloons. This will make handling them a little trickier. Trust us when we tell you that it will add to the laughs.

Bowling

If you have some extra water bottles and a tennis ball lying around, you are ready to go. Simply set the water bottles up in the regular bowling pattern and roll the tennis ball towards them. There is no real need to keep score as this is all just for fun. Once you have shown the kids how to play, you can even get back to the party with the rest of the adults. This really is a game that the kids can manage themselves.

Pool Noodles

Even if you don’t have a pool, there is still something you can do with these. What you are going to want to do is fill a bunch of balloons (with air this time). Then you are going to need a place where the players can score. We suggest either a plastic trashcan (cleaned out of course) or laundry baskets. Put the balloons in the middle and have the players use the noodles to get the balloons to the scoring container. Make up any rules about the way you can get the balloons to the scoring bin, but we suggest that they can only use the noodle. Additionally, don’t let them wrap the balloon with the noodle. This is no fun.

Conclusion

Summer is a time for backyard fun. At Coast Spas Reviews, we hope that we have provided you with a few ways to spend your time outdoors. Remember, we only get a limited number of days that we can do this in Canada. Make sure that you make the best of the summer weather.
