It is well-built, with quality plastic construction, smoothly rolling wheels, and a telescoping wand made of aluminum. It’s also easy to maintain, as the parts that require maintenance are readily available. It has a very long power cord, which allows you to clean large spaces without swapping outlets.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a HEPA filter fitted as standard. It’s also very bulky and heavy, making it difficult to carry around. Owing to its swiveling head, it offers decent maneuverability for a vacuum of its size and weight.
Dyson Ball Animal 2
The Dyson Ball Animal 2 is the best upright vacuum cleaner we’ve tried for carpet cleaning. It performs remarkably well on low and high-stacked tapestry due to its self-adjusting head, which removes everything from pet fur to coarse debris such as grit, and can quickly sweep on shaggy surfaces.
However, it isn’t very easy to assemble because it doesn’t use the easy-clip mechanisms found in other Dyson models. It’s also heavy, so moving with it isn’t easy. Its plastic design also gives it a cheap feeling.

The BISSELL PowerForce Helix is the best budget vacuum we have tested. It is a good lightweight model, which makes it convenient for you to transport from place to place. It may also be useful to clean crevices or racks with its half-hand design. It is ideal for low-pile tapestries, as it accumulates big and small scraps and pet fur.
