Use Natural Ingredients as Cleaning Solution:

When it comes to cleaning the tiles, cleaning them with a multipurpose cleaning solution will come to your mind. That is right. You will need a cleaning solution to clean the tiles properly. You can use any cleaning solution, but avoid using ones that include hydrofluoric acid and its derivatives. If you think you do not have the solution, you can make one at home. Home ingredients make the best solution for thoroughly cleaning the tiles, for example, salt, borax, vinegar, lemon water, and baking soda. Salt serves to dehydrate an area and clean it appropriately. It is preferable to use salt on a wet surface. All you need is salt, a damp cloth, and a brush. Wipe off the area with a damp cloth, sprinkle some salt on the surface and clean with a brush. Borax is another key ingredient to clean, disinfect, and deodorize a tile surface. Thirdly, vinegar and lemon juice are the best to spray and wipe to clean them easily. Vinegar and Lemon water can cut off grease easily. Using them as regular sprays to wipe the tiles is easy and effective.

Thoroughly Clean Up the Grout:

Grout are the untidiest parts of tiles. Not only they look extra filthy but have potential health affecting clutter. Due to its non-porous nature, grouts absorb debris containing viruses and bacteria. It makes it highly challenging to clean them appropriately. Therefore, you have to apply the cleaning solution and rub vigorously with a hard material like a brush. If it still looks dull, clean it with a cleaner that has neutral pH, rub it again with a stiff brush.

Use Steam to Scrub the Tiles:

For the tiles which come in contact with soap like small metro tiles white in the kitchen and bathroom wall tiles, you must use steam to clean them appropriately. It is because their surface does not only have dirt but soap solution which is hard to remove. Sprinkle hot water and keep it for 10 to 15 minutes. Rub with a cleaning pad, and you will notice it has become easy to wipe off the clutter.
