Joseph Giardina looks to work for many charities, supports food banks, and donates financially to organizations that align his goals for community support. One of his biggest giveaways started fifteen years ago at St. Mary’s Church. “I saw a flyer that said they needed donations for a banquet that they were planning, and my first instinct was to donate 40 hams and 40 turkeys.”
Since then, Joseph Giardina and his family have been annually donating hams and turkeys to that banquet for the last fifteen years. “I wasn’t sure if I would be able to make the donation because I was a new dad and I was trying to start up my business. I knew it was the right thing to do,” he explains. “But, it turned into the best decisions and our favorite holiday tradition.”
Another great example of his charity work is him being a Board member of the Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation. The Foundation is led by the founder Denise Rich and has very similar goals as Joseph Giardina. “There is so much suffering in the world and my goals are very aligned with this organization,” he says. “Too many people, adults and children, are hurting and struggling with cancers and terminal illnesses and have to find more effective treatments. I love serving for the mission, truly.”
