What if the secret to success is found in the cards we have, in the rearrangement of those cards, and in establishing the habits necessary to acquire the cards we require? Understanding how to handle the decks you currently own and how to acquire the cards you need can assist you in creating more competitive Yu-Gi-Oh decks.
1. Recall the Basics of Deck Construction
All training manuals that come with beginner decks cover the fundamentals. A Yugioh deck is composed of more than forty cards. Twenty of those spaces should be reserved for Monsters, ten for Spells, and ten for Trap cards, and any additional slots should preserve the 2:1:1 ratio. Often overlooked is the necessity of maintaining a deck of at least 40 cards.
