Operations Manager
The sole responsibility of the operations manager is to carry out day to day business tasks. They also look for ways to improve daily operations. Requirements for this job will depend, but generally all that is required is leadership experience and a Bachelor’s Degree. If you are a veteran with leadership and military operations experience, the Bachelor’s Degree may not be required. By 2026, the Bureau of Labor Statistics projects a 5-9% growth rate. Administration and Office
It might not seem glamorous, but office and administrative workers are an essential part of any company and its functions. Often referred to as office managers, and account managers, the administrative employees are the ones to keep things running smoothly. In order to be considered for this position, veterans generally need to have at least an Associate’s Degree, but a Bachelor Degree is preferred. Experience is also a plus. Truck driving jobs are also a great career path for veterans to choose. From long haul truck drivers to local delivery drivers, the jobs are plentiful.
