DISCUSS MACHINE USED TO MAKE WIRE NAILS

Wire Nails

Wire nails are made up of any metal mostly of steel and usually used for severe and rough woods. Steel Wire Nails mostly preferred for substantial duty woodwork. Wood’s work is incomplete with the use of nails. In place of nails, there are various materials used for joining pieces of wood like gum and other sticky materials.

Uses of Wire nails

Wire nails are used mainly for the construction process as well as repairing of wooden doors and in the construction office furniture, appliances. In building the trusses and pallets, there is an essential role of wire nails. Some of the common uses of wire nails are:

  • Joining wood pieces
  • Processing material
  • Assists in opening bottle
  • Used for decorations
  • Construction of multiple items

Types of Wire nails

There are numerous types of nails used in the processing and manufacture of different things. Some of the most used types of nails mentioned below:

  •  Box nails
  • Masonry nails
  • Double-headed nails
  • Screw nail
  •  Cut flooring nails
  • Finishing nails
  • Ring threaded nails
  •  Casing nails

Every type of nail has distinguishing properties, which makes it different from others. Nails are in use from the last 3000 years. Still, in this age of technology, nails are assisting in completing our construction-related tasks.

Manufacturing of Wire Nails

To manufacture these nails, a coil of wire is used, which is then fed into nails manufacturing machine that cuts it into prefixed lengths. After cutting the wire, this machine creates the nail’s point and head, which then collected into a bin. By this manufacturing process, gripper marks left upon on the nail’s shank, just a little bellow the nail’s head that provides the extra grip, which prevents the nails from pulling out of the wood after insertion.

Nails made for the ordinary wood are usually softer, low carbon and mild steel used in their production while the wire nails used for concrete are much harder and made up of high carbon and good quality steel.

Parts of a Nail Producing Machine

There are four main parts of this machine:

1.    Nail knife to cut steel wire.

2.    Nail Mould to clamp the steel wire

3.    Pin Punch to shape the nail head

4.    Dies to draw wire in the machine

How is Wire Nail Making Machine Work?

It is a continuous Nail Manufacturing process, wherein the machine a Galvanized Wire passed into its Mould, and at the end, Nail Cutter fixed to cut it down. Nail cutter made up of a pair of cutting knives which get collapsed and cutting the nail according to its size.

Then Hammer is placed, which used to give the shape of Nail’s Head. This finally shaped nail can automatically drop down into a nail collecting bin. You can set the nail size and thickness before starting the procedure. After this, nails automatically get produced and collected into the collector.

 Polishing the nails

After the wire nails manufacturing process gets over, you have to polish them. You need to polish these nails in a polishing drum for 25 to 30 minutes. After cleaning, nails are ready to be used. An ordinary nail making machine can be used in the production of different sized and gauged nails, and such nail manufacturing machine can produce an average of 300 to 700 nails per minute.

 Packing of nails

Nails are then cleaned, twisted, finished, and packaged into boxes. The nail manufacturing business is proven to be a very profitable business. By purchasing nails manufacturing machines and hiring a sufficient number of workers, you can start a profitable business. Even you can start earning the right amount of profit from the very first month.

Some Considerable Features of Nails Producing Machine

Machines with a low noise producing ability considered to be more workers friendly. Because it doesn’t let the users feel comfortable.

Auto lubrication is an essential feature of Nails Producing Machine because, with this ability, all parts of the machine can lubricate whenever it is required.

High bearing capacity and heavy workload so it should have a durable structure so it may have a longer lifetime.
