The Suicide Squad is a 2021 American action film published by James Gunn. The film is based on the antihero team Suicide Squad from comic book publisher DC Comics and is the eleventh film in the DC Extended Universe. Movie plot
Super villains are forced to take on a new suicide mission. After 2016’s “Suicide Squad,” the franchise was restarted by “Guardian of the Galaxy” mastermind James Gunn. In “The Suicide Squad” one encounters a new group of super villains who travel to Corto Maltese at the suggestion of Amanda Waller to destroy a secret experiment there. The island is heavily armed and such missions can quickly result in the death of a Chaos Squad member. If they defended themselves against their boss’ announcement, a small remote-controlled bomb would be detonated on their head, which was implanted inside with a chip.

The Suicide Squad tells the story of the journey of a group of super criminals in the Task Force X team formed by Amanda Waller, the head of Belle Reve prison. These criminals are forced to undergo dangerous missions with the lure of commutation of sentences and also secret blackmail by Amanda.
When they arrive in a fictional country called Corto Maltese, these criminals are required to survive without American military support and complete their mission to destroy a former Nazi Germany headquarters called Jotunheim which is home to dangerous aliens.
Starring Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Idris Elba, John Cena, Sylvester Stallone, and many more, this James Gunn film has been in theaters since July 28 and will leave theaters on September 5.
