Too Bored in Covid Lockdown? Here Are The 5 Best PC Games to Try In 2021

When you have to spend weeks in quarantine, it is not smart to rely on friends to keep you company all time. Even if they are nice enough to regularly check on you, most of the time you would have to look for other types of entertainment to help you pass time.

Moreover, internet connection can sometimes disappoint you or the app you were using to stay in touch with friends can start acting up. For example, my Discord had sound issues that could be resolved but obviously took some time.

When this happened, I was lucky enough to have an interesting collection of games on my computer that kept me entertained.

Now that there are solid chances of Covid restrictions being imposed one more time, I thought of sharing my experience with all the readers here. Most of these will save you money with the free download and you can play them in the comfort of your home.

Ghostrunner

This one is definitely not for the faint of heart. It is tough, exciting, and exhilarating. You might have to go over the same level again and again so don’t beat yourself trying to master the game in one go.

Dharma Tower is the distinctive feature of the game where you have to use the player’s unique abilities to take revenge on ruthless enemies and make your way to the top of the tower.

Minecraft

Definitely, a name we have heard since our childhood!

Although I had been quite out of touch when it came to Minecraft, I was quick to learn new tricks such as what the fortune do on axe Minecraft

Then there was no turning back. I could spend hours playing this computer game, exploring new adventures, purchasing the latest accessories, and much more.

Hades

As the name suggests, this game revolves around the story of Hades’ son, Zagreus locked in the underworld. The task is to assist the escape from the rogue world.

In the process, you will come across many new features and even new characters!

Another interesting point is that, unlike other games, when your character dies, you don’t necessarily have to start over. There are many checkpoints along the way. Dying means you will start from the latest checkpoint your players have reached.

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands

Although I wasn’t a big fan of this one, my brothers surely loved it for all the right reasons.

Warcraft has won a huge popularity in the market as one of the fastest-selling games. The new installments and updates are enough to keep the players on their toes.

Here you can explore new areas, carry out raids, and even join a multiplayer session to double the fun. The Shadowland offers more character customizations and new drop zones giving you the extra dose of excitement you had been looking for.

Hitman 3

This one is the latest addition to the trilogy with 6 new maps and more twists in the story. The main setup, however, remains the same. You will have access to a hitman map that encompasses places from England to Dubai and to China.

If you are in to hit and play then you will love this treat. Your task would be to move around the map, locate the targets and eliminate them without, of course, getting yourself killed.

Moreover, the game is not uni-directional. This means, you can choose to play the same level over and over again by choosing different story paths. In this manner, you can explore more than just one end to the game play.
