Why does your child need daycare?

The question “Should I send my child to kindergarten?” arises in the head of a parent, perhaps from the moment the child is born. A generation of modern parents at one time went to preschool, but most modern parents are increasingly wondering whether their child needs a kindergarten. If earlier parents worked and the state provided children with a place in a nursery, now many young parents can stay at home or work at home, spending as much time as possible with their baby.

At home, everything is clear and understandable – the child is nearby, which means that it is under control and there is no reason to worry! And in the garden – the unknown! What kind of educators work, how can they affect the fragile psyche of a child? What about the other kids? Parents have many fears. And a natural question arises – “Do we need daycare and kindergarten?” We will make sure to help you see all the benefits of daycare and make your own choice.

Why does your child need kindergarten and daycare?

1. Socialisation

The main benefit of a kindergarten is “socialisation.” It is no secret that humans are social beings. And communication and interaction skills with peers around kids in kindergartens are the most fruitful. The art of communication, no doubt, needs to be learned from childhood. All grandparents and parents, with all-embracing love, usually indulge any whim of the child, and such a child has a chance to become an egocentric adult who does not know how it is to take into account someone else’s opinion. Daycare, on the other hand, unobtrusively and easily acquaints the child with the concepts of “compromise”, “agreement”, “sharing”.

2. Communication skills

In kindergarten and day care facilities, your child will learn how to communicate with children of their age. At this time, they has their first friends, and it is here that they learns to act in a team.

Such institutions have all the necessary equipment and qualified specialists who will contribute to the all-round development of the child. Thus, now parents can rely not only on their own strengths, but also entrust education to professional teachers.

Your kid will learn how to be independent and not rely only on family members in all matters.

3. No gadgets

Daycare protects children from the influence of electronic gadgets, which are actively used at home in many families. Kindergarten often becomes almost the only place where children can play regular games without looking at their tablet or mobile phone every minute.

While the little one is in their group, they will learn discipline, order and obedience.

4. Happy parents

While your child is in a group with other babies under the supervision of a caregiver, you can go to work. This is another “plus” that the kindergarten gives the child and his parents. Thus, you will not be annoyed that your kid doesn’t give you enough time to earn money or self-actualise, you will not feel bound by your arms. As a result, this will make you more balanced and benevolent towards your little human. Happy parents equal happy children, don’t forget about that.

5. Self-care

It is hard not to note that in good quality nursery care centres, children quickly learn self-care skills. At home this is impossible, because next to them is a mother who will help, so that things go faster! The situation is the same with food. Teachers include the daily routine as useful arguments in favour of kindergarten. He, in turn, has a positive effect on the development of responsibility and prepares the child for adulthood. And not a countable number of various games and toys, maybe, unexpectedly, reveal the hidden talents and interests of a little person, which at home could stay asleep.

6. Development of the immune system

Another sensitive issue is the frequency of diseases in the garden. There are indeed more of them than if you were at home. But paediatricians and therapists will say that you need to get sick with chickenpox and rubella in childhood! In adulthood, these diseases can be life-threatening. It is useful for young parents to know that all diseases that a person suffers from leave immunity to this form of infection. Therefore, if your child gets such a disease in kindergarten, they will definitely not get sick at school! And this is very important, because skipping a week attending kindergarten and a week attending school is a big difference!

The battle “for” and “against”

In this battle, kindergartens dragged a large number of allies into their team. Constant communication with peers of the same interests, and a fully active day on the move, with many different games. In fact, the educators are the same animators – they entertain the children all day. Think about what parent is able to play with a child from morning till night, taking into account only children’s interests? Adults need to prepare food and tidy up. It can be assumed that there is a desire, but there is no opportunity.

Only you – parents, can and should take care of the choice of a teacher and a kindergarten, if you decide to go to it. This is the key to high-quality and happy preschool development of the child. Accompanying your child with love at every stage, you give him support and confidence. And then your child will be able to adequately interact with other children.

Conclusion

It is important to know that in the right kindergarten, educators find an individual approach to each child, they listen to the child’s opinion, play, walk and sleep (and if the child does not succeed, he is not forced) and, of course, if the children get sick they are developing collective immunity! In the end, only mom and dad can know what is good for their child  – attending a good kindergarten or being at home! And we hope that we made this decision a litlle bit easier for you.
